My first off-road vehicle was a 87' Toyota pick that I adored. Only purchased for $750! Man are those days gone! I wheeled the mountains of Breckenridge and beyond for a couple summers. After moving on to my 86' 4runner. Gosh I wish I never sold it! The list goes on and on, FJ80, Corolla, 2x Tacoma (1st and 2nd gen)... To me, Toyota/Lexus vehicle has always been the golden standard for a comfortable and the most reliable 4wd truck or SUV.
